WOMEN HAVE FEWER CRASHES

women-vs-men-accidentsData gathered by dealer Jennings Motor Group from various sources suggest that Women have fewer crashes.  It found that 57% of male drivers had been involved in a crash, compared to 44% of women.  46% of men had a ‘close call’ with either a cyclist or pedestrian, compared to 35% of women.  Whilst 68% of UK women have a clean driving licence compared to 64% of men.  Even more statistics show that men also have a higher percentage of losing concentration by adjusting their stereo, talking on a mobile, speeding and verbally abusing other motorists.

 WOMEN LESS LIKELY TO SPEED

Data studied from installed Black Boxes by insurance company Wunelli discovered that female motorists were 12% less likely to exceed the speed limits than men.  It also found that women were 11% less likely to brake hard.  This makes them smoother drivers and more safety conscious.
